The last month has seen a steady number of converts to the church of Leam Richardson-ball, or at fewer people willing to burn the institution to the ground. Though it has mostly come against opposition of limited quality in pre-season, Reading have shown real promise, especially in attacking areas, despite attempting to integrate new signings, give minutes to youngsters and fill in where necessary to cover for far too many injuries.
